contents: The binder on the left is engaged in lacing the bindings of cord or leather on which a large format book (such as the Dutch Authorized Versionof the Bible) is sewn, through the holes in the wooden boards used in such cases and in fixing them with warm glue. The binder on the right is busy working on the wooden boards that are to be fastened to the other text block.
