With some 650 pages, this is a grandly planned book which received, however, less interest than the lives of saints and other devout booklets. Medieval books were often illustrated with a limited selection of woodcuts that were printed more than once in the same book. This illustration was, for instance, used both for the destruction of Babylon and for the destruction of Utrecht. origineel: source: Rolewinck, Werner. - Fasciculus temporum. - Utrecht: Johan Veldener, 14 feb. 1480, fol.
