contents: Leiden publisher-booksellers Jan Paets Jacobszoon and Jan Bouwensz worked together intensively. Data from the Short Title Catalogue Netherlands (STCN) show that they jointly published more than 60 titles during the period 1580-1614. This edition from 1582, "Wtlegginge Ioannis Calvini, op alle de Sendtbrieuen Pauli", was published in cooperation with their Amsterdam colleague Cornelis Claesz, who issued the same title simultaneously. Apart from the imprint on the title-page, both books are identical. In 1596 and in 1604 Paets Jacobszoon and Bouwensz joined forces with Claesz again - both times for a Bible edition.
