contents: In addition to what he wrote in the preface to his 1768 type specimen, Joannes Enschedé also wrote on this page very appreciatively about his famous type cutter Joan Michael Fleischman. He also shows here a sample of Fleishman's skills: a dubbele garmond (2-line long primer; 20 point) and his second written script, cut for Enschedé, also his last 'Art-Work for this type foundry'.
