contents: Gold-tooled brown-carmine morocco. On both boards is a continuous circumscription which shows that the binding, with the ten miniature booklets bound in red sheepskin, was a present for Willem van Borssele at his birth in 1757. The binding is signed on the front board by Suenonius Mandelgreen, bookbinder from Sweden, but active in Middelburg between 1736 and 1757. Signed bindings in the 18th century are extremely rare.
