contents: A large exhibition on the art of printing was held on the occasion of the Coster commemoration in Haarlem in 1856. On the top floor, depicted here, an operating type foundry, a composing room, printing office, lithographic printing office and bookbindery have been installed. The lithography is by C.C.A. Last (1808-1876), one of the best lithographers in the 19th century who was in great demand.
