contents: When Carles Nypels (1895-1951) printed this booklet, he already had seven bibliophile publications to his name, printed, like this one, by his father's company, the firm of Leiter-Nypels in Maastricht. Probably because of a distaste for the regular printer's trade he had started on the bibliophile path in 1920. His publications are characterised by the fact that he had no fixed style. Unconventional, extraordinary colours such as purple and green here, and remarkable initials (by Henri Jonas) make this a true Nypels book.
