contents: Off set press in use at the printing house of 'N.V. Boekhandel en Drukkerij, formerly E.J. Brill', in Leiden. The offset principle is shown here: from the metal plate on the foremost cylinder the image (text and possible illustrations of the pages) is transferred to a rubber roller on the middle cylinder, and the image of that roller is transferred to paper.
