contents: This hand-coloured copper engraving is from a well -known children's book in five languages in which matters of diverse nature, varying from the vegetable and animal kingdOMSCHRIJVING_EN up to and including nations, deities, famous men and crafts are dealt with. Bookbinding is explained by means of the figures in the lowest picture. The techniques as developed during the course of time were certainly still used until 1800.
