contents: These two pages show that only little had changed in the course of the 18th century in the design and typographical editing of the Dutch book, or in this case, magazine. The text is still in roman and italic. Characteristic of this time is also that the printed matter for this sort of publications was rather sloppy. The illustration specially made for this magazine of the debarkation of the English troops near 'Lang-Eiland' on 22 August 1776 is, traditionally, printed on the opposite page of the text.
