contents: In 1908 appeared in "Den Gulden Winckel" a photo-reportage (one of the first of its kind in the Netherlands) about the making of a process block. It shows 'within which short time modern techniques enable a reproduction to be made in zinc with a plate or photograph suitable for printing in a newspaper'. The photographs were taken in the studios of Joh. Enschedé & Sons. The first picture shows the receipt of the 'original': a reproduction of a painting by Frans Hals.
