contents: Colophon in the Delft Bible. It shows that this Bible has been translated from the Latin into Dutch and was `made in Delft in Holland with the help of God', by Jacob Jacobszoon and Mauricius Yemants `to the honour of God' and the date: 10 January 1477. The printer's device consists of the two family coats of arms of the printers: a shield with the three waterlily leaves (Jacob Jacobszoon van der Meer) and a shield with a cross and branches in the four fields (Mauricius Yemantszoon). Such an elaborate colophon is unique for incunabula. This Delft Bible is the first book these two printers published together.
