contents: Drawing by Pieter Jansz Saenredam used as a study page for the illustration of a printing press in the "Laure-crans" (laurel wreath) for Laurens Coster by Petrus Scriverius, included in Samuel Ampzing's "Beschrijvinge ende lof der stad Haerlem", Haarlem 1628, in which the printing office of Coster around 1440 is represented. The printing press is no reconstruction of one from Coster's days, but a reliable representation of a press from Saenredam's own time.
