contents: Jan Seversz printed this "Missale Trajectense", a prestigious edition in those days, in red and black in two columns. He added six woodcuts to this edition, probably designed by Lucas van Leyden, including the Birth of Christ depicted here. He also used a running title and possessed many woodcut initials. until 1520, Jan Seversz, one of the most important printers in Leiden, regularly published works with illustrations by anonymous engravers after designs by Lucas van Leyden.
