contents: Prospectus of the Amsterdam publisher and bookseller W.H. Kirberger with on the first page the mention of the book by the 'generally loved writer' Elisabeth Johanna Hasebroek, "De vrouwen der hervorming". This was a book on women 'who had suffered and struggled in body and soul for the good cause'. The cases of 'Dutch sisters' such as Wendelmoet Klaas, Lijsken Dirks, Kenau Simons Hasselaar and Charlotte van Bourbon, Princess of Orange were revealed with great passion and speed in two parts.
