contents: The "Nieuw Nederlandsch Magazijn" was a continuation of the popular "Nederlandsch Magazijn ter verspreiding van algemeene en nuttige kundigheden" and appeared from 1846 to 1858. It was printed on nice, strong paper and was accompanied by beautiful wood engravings. The publishers were the well-known brothers Diederichs of Amsterdam who brought more of this kind of illustrated book or periodical on the market.
