contents: The Rijksmuseum, built from 1877-1885, is the summit in the oeuvre of the most important Gothic Revival architect in the Netherlands, P.J. H. Cuypers. This atlas of plates contains an introduction by Jonkheer Victor de Stuers, L.L.M., the then head of a department at the Ministry of the Interior and the initiator of the new building. The plates: ground plans and pictures of the museum itself - inside as well as outside - and the decorations are by Cuypers himself.
