contents: This picture shows paste edges (fig. 1) and stained edges and edges with white stains, respectively (fig. 2). There are also a gold cushion and gold knife (figs. 5, 6) and a press to press a book (fig.7). Fig. 8 shows how a sheet of gold leaf is attached to the edge of the book.
