contents: This is the 11th Dutch edition after the 20th American edition of one of the great international bestsellers, "Uncle Tom's Cabin", published in serial form, and after that in book form in 1852 with 70 engravings by Johan Braakensiek and others. This realistic illustration full of tension and action is by Braakensiek, one of the best known and most productive book illustrators around 1900 (e.g of Dik Trom).
