contents: Binding of natural and dark stained calf, blind-tooled. On the front-board the section of a deal beam is printed, of which the annual rings have been cut out and on which `breaches' in the form of a spider have been mounted in strips. Szirmai, born in Czechoslovakia, is the most important binder of the 1970s and 1980s in the Netherlands. His work also enjoys an excellent international reputation.
