contents: This linen tooled binding by Sjoerd H. de Roos (1877-1962) is amongst the most beautiful Dutch bindings of the 20th century. A particular lucky strike is the 'T' which rises up like a torso within a framework of eight double lines . De Roos made several more bindings for W.L. & J. Brusse.
